Monger fluking
« on: August 04, 2014, 08:36:43 PM »
Had my first trip ever on the Fish Monger today and boy am I blown away. Not because of the fishing but Jerry and Hunter were absolutely first class and I felt immediatley like I was a long time regular once I stepped onboard, after that the fishing matched the service and welcomeness. I've heard lots of good things from lots of people about the Monger so I expected a good trip, but this was much better then I anticipated. Their reputation is well earned. Absolutely a 5 star operation

Managed 7 keepers myself with the biggest going 5 lbs. My group of 4 put 31 keepers up to 7 lbs in the box, we all caught over our limit(which get split in the end by every patron). Fishing was picky at times but if you worked for it you got it for sure. White and pink shine was KING today, oddly enough white mullets didn't catch anything only grubs from my experience and view today. Jerry worked hard and really put us on nice fish. I'll be back soon

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

by far, he is the best on the water.. Like you said, just just with the catching, but you also get first class treatment.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
