Albermarle sound N.Carolina 8-23-14

Fished with Dad on his Parker for Perch in the sound using cut shrimp. Drifted a few spots with no Luck. Water temp was 83 Deg.  Made a move to the inland waterway and spotted fish jumping around but could not make them bite on bait or the troll.
        We put the boat on the lift in the canal in his yard and my wife wanted to fish the canal.  We caught some big Catfish, Crappies and she lost a 16" Striped bass at the bulkhead when the line snapped. We used earthworms on bobbers.
