should be a strap holding the tank that hooks to the base, unhook the strap and the tank will come off

No strap that goes around tank and their isn't really a base visible.

Just the tank and the bottom of the bilge  5hrug

Guess I will have to revisit in the spring.

Just don't want to pay marina to do it (or anything really). They just charged me 200 to raise the motor which is an hour job absolute max.

Just a guess - if you cant see anyway the bracket is mounted, it may be clipped onto a mounting bracket.  The resevior has a small retaining clip that slides into the bracket which is mounted to  the boat.
Like I said, just a guess, but many auto P/S resevoirs are mounted this way.
Grab a mirror and try to see whats behind the plastic tank.

Just a suggestion.
Go online to the motor manurfacturer.  Do a search on the oil reservoir and mounting bracket as if you were going to purchase it.  See if an illustration comes up showing the parts.

My discretionary income is not as much as yours :)

I am really not thrilled what my marina charges me to do stuff and yours is way worse then mine.

i really do not want to rely on them for much of anything.

They want 5 hours + to install trim tabs and Bennet themselves told me it should be no more then 3-3.5 and to do it myself, especially if marina wants to charge me that much ($110 per btw).
Thanks fellas.

Thanks Joe. Good idea.

I have already begun to peruse my Seloc service manual, but have had no luck finsing any info there.

I will do the search.
