Roosters Flukin 9-27-14
« on: September 27, 2014, 06:44:41 PM »
—Wind prediction for today light and variable, fact North 15-20, it was rough out there today.Tom and I started our final Fluke trip on the Knoll this morning and were soon joined here by a large fleet of party and private boats. After being tossed around we thought to try the ocean off of north Beach where another small fleet had formed. Here we were tossed around even more and only landing short Fluke we moved inside by the coast guard station. It was fishable here but only short Fluke and the return of Calico crabs forced us to leave and return to our slip with no keepers. Thanks for the report,  Fluking has been tough the last few days. I think anything big have migrated out already.
