Left dock Saturday morning and looked for life in Mud Hole, Glory hole and Chicken Canyon on way to Hudson. There was no life and too many weeds in the water to prospect trolling.
Arrived at Hudson late afternoon and started chumming and chunking next to a pod of whales. Spent the night chunking for 3 YFT (1 90 lbs) and many blue shark.
Sunday tried to troll through the weeds with no luck.
Sunday night chunked for 1 swordfish and no other bites. Literally 400 boats. Wind picked up to 20 kts around 1am till sunrise.
Monday tried to troll again with no luck. Tried to chunk over marks but couldn't get anything to bite on live squid, butterfish or whiting.
Monday afternoon grabbed 10 mahi on ride home.
Not a bad trip but was expecting a better bite. Heard many that caught less or no fish during the same time.
