No.  Just the opposite.  It's probably the absolute minimum size you want for wreck fishing.

okay alot of people told me to go heavier so il get 40 lb

I would go minimum 50lb. Most store bought cod rigs have 80lb to 100lb. Your lines gonna get torn  up on all kinds of sharp things down below. Many anglers go down to 20-25lb just for the sinker so it will break away if it gets stuck.
