Windy today, Stayed at the dock in Keyport doing maintenance. My Buddy Bob shows up to check on his boat. We are both itching to get out. We decide to take Hallie Loren 36' out for a try in the slop. We trolled from Keyport down the Reach channel to the navy pier and back, the Maja spoon Charteuse/green had a nice fish on for 2 minutes and pulled the hook. Nothing on the stretch or polish shad. Called it day after sunset and went to the barn. We will be out evenings this week trying again.
