I opted not to work today and fish with a few friends.  7:30 am I was prepping the boat and and a friend was already returning from his fishing trip that he started at 6:15am.  Nice sized Stripers in the cooler caught on Stretch 25's. By the Reach 19 bouy  
      We found the growing fleet and the stretch 25's did not produce but the black/white 9er shad umbrellas worked fine.  Bunker were thick all over the area too.  Steve pulled up a double header of Stripers on the umbrella a 22lb and a 20lb weighed on the boga. Some big blues mixed too.   We livelined for awhile but only had Striper runoffs. Back to trolling and it produced more Stripers.  They were all keepers today
    Nice day out with good guys.

Nice day all around. Made the right call not going into work,hit the fish and boxed some for future meals and all the buds had a good time I'm sure. Way to go Ed.
