Fishing on SouthPaw 10/27
« on: October 27, 2007, 11:43:36 PM »
Met SouthPaw Vinnie at the dock today.  Checked out the ocean late in the afternoon.  It calmed down enough to get out and try some trolling.  Headed north out of the inlet.
Picked up one striper at twenty six inches.  Released to fish another day.  Used umbrellas with shads.  Black over pearl.

Tried to post a pic but said the file was too large (fish wasn't, file was ;D)
Thanks for the trip Vinnie.

Way to go!  From the looks of things in the late morning, who thought it would be fishable by the afternoon?  Nice job! t^

Joe unless you post the pics no one will believe you.  thud
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!

nice catch joe... if the run is going to be anything like it was up here then theres gonna be lots of little guys for awhile, then the big ones will move in.... about the picture thing, try putting the pics into the "paint" program then going to image and the "stretch/skew" options and lower them.. that might help

Thanks for the info on the bass Drew.  We are starting to see the little ones now.  Hopefully, it won't take forever for the big ones to get here.

I will try that with the pics.
