For those of us that tie our own rigs, I seen this an thought it might be helpful for tying dropper loops especially if your perticuler on the size and space between loops.

I tried it. Works great for me! I put 2 triangles so I could make 2 loops. Best dropper loops I have ever made and all nice and even.

Was it mentioned on how to space the nails,I know a few measurements were thrown out there,but I didn't actually hear the specifics. Or doesn't it matter.

Tell ya the truth it seams like a lot of excess to tie drop loops.

No specific measurements for the distances Joe. They can be spaced as the individual sees fit for their own application.

I made one of these two years ago following the second video that was posted. Works good. However, I find it much simpler just tying the dropper loops by hand. Granted, you won't get the same size loops and the same distance every tie but it is close enough for me to work as needed.

It's appreciated that Pops Soul posted the information for all of us to take advantage of..or not. But for me it seams like something you would need if you were tying a lot of rigs for commercial use so as to keep them uniform. Me I tie by hand, and they don't always look pretty,as long as they work.

Yes, Skip did have in his post that it is best suited for those who prefer a particular distance between drops and length of the drops.

It is good for those who just can't get the hang of tying the dropper by hand. I know I had difficulties at first.

 Dropper loops are hard to make with arthritic hands. Going to try the wood jig.

Not to be an AH here, but have you noticed how each demo has used heavy cord instead of mono. Just sayin.

The reason for that is because the heavy cord can be seen in  the video. Imagine how difficult it would be to see clear mono on your computer screen.

true, true. I was thinking more along the lines of. It's easier tying the heavy cord then mono anyway. It wouldn't be me if I didn't say something
