« on: May 29, 2015, 12:25:43 PM »
If anyone has fished off the Red Spire in Long Branch today and at the Shrewsbury Rocks, and if you don't mind how did it go.....Leaving from Belmar at around 4pm and heading north gonna troll and maybe while the light is out do a little fluking around the rocks with some different color Spro rigs.....

Look for bunker pods and let us know how it was. I'm planning to do a evening bass trip on sat if it's fishable

I know I'm a little late on this but from what I'm seeing water temps on the cold side no bait out on the water from Shark River all the way to the tip of Sandy Hook that day tried a little fluking caught some Sun Dial and some black sea bass and short fluke on spro rigs different color gulps.surprisingly I marked quite a few fish mid water over the Shrewsbury rocks after 10pm and through all sorts of bait clams bunker worms and nothing would bite also marked quite a few fish on the edges of the Sandy Hook channel and again nothing would take the bait you would figure at least a blue fish would take the bait but I guess my fish finder is playing with my head

I haven't seen many good reports from that area this year.  :P
