Got a call yesterday afternoon from Bob (Hunter 2s buddy), asked if I wanted to go out for to try some fluking. I obliged, quick run to the watering hole (getting hot out was worried about hydration) and My son and I headed to the dock. Ran out to the Keansburg hole bounced a few jigs but drift was un decided and kept us away from our targeted area. Made a quick move to the Ammo pier and lines in, not much going on made a few moves and much the same, wound up with 1 for the box and 3 to swim again.
Lots of radio chatter of big bass and multiple hook ups, sounded like NY guys. Bunker were in abundance with nothing under them.
Its gotta break open soon, back at next week sometime.
