Pops Soul Saturday QUICKIE

Had my youngest son Rob and his live long friend Jason and his GF Courney with me today. Jason is a good freshwater fisherman, but this was  their first time on the ocean  fcp with a strong NW wind we headed north to Long Brach staying along the beach. Drift was fast so the parachute was put out. After some lessons in reel use and jigging it was game on. Jason with a short fluke, Rob with a short fluke, Jadon boxed a keeper at 18 inches. Move back up for another drift , work for me snags and backlashes uggggg rgmn but we live for this stuff Right ??? Moved in a little closer to the beach and the young lady hooks up to her first fish ever that turned out to be a Sea Robin buy exciting for her. Then she hooks up again an boxes a 21 incher. My son Rob has Life long history of getting sea sick an after pumping Dramamine into him it still got him today so the trip was cut short with 2 in the box.  TT^

Nice job being a dad and a mentor to the kids with fishing!!!! Sounds like they had some fun minus the mal di mare
