I fished with Qball today on his boat out of Leonardo. Nice and cool on the water, nothing like the heat on the land. First we tried the outgoing tide by the Coast Guard station. -2 shorts. Next we tried the Chapel Hill channel and Flynn Knoll - 1 short and 1 dog fish. We ran outside to Sandy hook channel. All the Belmar and Manasquan Bluefish boats were out there until they ran inside the bay. Qball caught one blue for the grill tonight while I bounced my bucktail. We ran into the beach and I got two more doggies. Ran inside to the Belford flats – I had two more short and Oddball had two shorts and a 19 ½ inch keeper. Called it quit at two. Hot when we got back to the dock.
