Caught the change of tide first thing in the AM today, Started slugging away as we power drifted, naturally, with an outgoing tide the wind came EAST!!! Hard to believe it, but this is how it goes. Went into an even harder working mode, found some fish in several area's but the conditions were the pits and no drift could be repeated twice. So we keep looking.
Later in the Day, the wind came more South, started a slider but we had several drifts that produced some very nice Fluke.
Young Fishermen, Shane O'Neal lead the way with 17 fish, three keepers with one that went 5 pounds! Shane fished a Rod Rental and Bait all day...
Walter took the pool with a nice 7 pounder followed by Jessica with a 6.4. Rachel also had a nice fish at 4 1/2 pounds. Gary Had three for dinner also.
Capt. Ron Sr. landed his best of the Short season so far and our biggest of the day at 8.2 pounds. Bait did better than the Jiggers today for sure....
Back at it tomorrow.
