heard the weather report for 5mph winds so got a crew for some sharkin.left the point of the hook at 7:30 and made it to the ba at 8:20.set up a slick and the chum was going south and our floats were going west.no hits for 3 hrs.then the wind picked up slightly and our floats went into the slick.15min.later we landed a 80lb.blue shark.the next hit was 45min.and we pulled the hook on the shark.15minutes later we landed a 90lb.mako.that was followed by a big blue shark in the slick trying to eat the float.then minutes later the rod goes off.thought we might have had the big guy.but it turned out to be a pup mako 20lb.half hour later we landed a 60lb blue.fished for 2 more hours without a hit.had a nice run back with the wind at our backs.the sharks were all taken on lake trout filets.guess they eat anything.lol
