Another mixed weekend for weather and water conditions. Saturday will be dry most of the day. An isolated or scattered shower is possible evening through night before greater chances of rain move in for the overnight. Chances are low and Trick-or-Treating should be dry on Halloween, but don’t be surprised by any showers. Sunday will have chances of scattered to widely scattered showers. Highs will be in the 50’s on Saturday and 50’s and 60’s on Sunday with overnight lows in the 40’s to 50’s. Water conditions will be good to borderline on Saturday with seas to 3 feet or so and borderline to cautious on Sunday with seas 2-4 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be good with wave heights to 4 feet. Water temperatures are steady and slowly dropping in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 1-4/15.

A high pressure system in the Ohio Valley will build across the region tonight, then move east on Saturday. A weak warm front will lift northward through the area late on Saturday. A cold front will then cross the region on Sunday before slowly dropping south as a wave of low pressure moves along it on Monday. Then, a high pressure system will build into and remain over the Northeast through the middle of next week. A cold front is predicted to approach the area from the Great Lakes on Friday.

Next week will start off with rain chances on Monday and then dry for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the 60’s and 70’s with overnight lows in the 40’s to 50’s, as slightly above normal temperatures return for the week. Water, surf and beach conditions will be good to borderline. Winds should be normal to 15 knots, but seas may push over 3 feet towards 4 feet.

The Atlantic Tropics are quiet.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
