Raritan Bay. Evening. 11-3-15
« on: November 04, 2015, 05:57:35 AM »
Mike, Ray and I jumped on Bobs boat at 4:30 pm and head out of Keyport.  I got some messages that the Stripers fishing was insane.  At the grounds the bluefish were very hungry.  We jigged and trolled several areas.   Blues and more blues.    We saw a whale breaching in the bay and bunker flying 10' in the air as it surfaced with its mouth open.  Great sunset too and a meteor flying north through the sky.   No bass for us but good times with the guys.

t^ .... Sugine point is where it was blowing up yesterday, you could walk across the boats there. Didn't see any blues come up. Good luck on the next trip I am sure you will get on them .... chrz

All blues for me last night, too.  I did hear there was a good bite earlier near Princess Bay but I did not want to make the long run home in the dark.

t^ So I guess it was a whale that you thought you saw on Sunday
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
