The weekend will be mixed with some unsettled weather and water conditions. Saturday will have lower chances of showers with chances increasing north to south. Any showers will be scattered with dry conditions for Saturday Night and Sunday. Saturday will have mixed clouds and sun and Sunday will be sun mixed with clouds. Highs will be in the 50’s to 70’s. Overnight lows will still drop down into the 30’s and 40’s. Water conditions will be borderline to cautious with winds 10-15 knots and winds gusting to 20 knots at times. Seas will be elevated to 4 feet. Rivers and back bays will be good, but major bays (Raritan and Delaware) and ocean waters will be cautious at times throughout the weekend. Surf and beach conditions will be good to ok with some gustier winds to 20 knots and waves to 4 feet. Water temperatures are in the upper 40’s and 50’s. UV Index will be Moderate to High at 3-7/15.

High pressure off the East Coast will give way to low pressure and a slow moving cold front, which will move offshore by Saturday. Canadian High Pressure will move in behind the front through Sunday, and move offshore Monday. A slow moving cold front will approach from the north Monday and become stationary over the Region Tuesday, as waves of low pressure develop eastward along it. Canadian High Pressure is forecast to push the front south of the area Wednesday, before it moves northward toward the Region as a warm front Thursday.

Next week is unsettled with rain chances on Monday Night, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Highs will be in the 60’s and 70’s with overnight lows in the 30’s to 50’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
