« on: May 09, 2016, 04:40:28 PM »
I have not vetted this story; I just happened upon it on Facebook today. Apparently, several boats were burglarized and marine electronics were stolen in the Tuckerton Area.

Quote
ATTENTION JERSEY SHORE MARINA OWNERS, BOATERS AND MARINE MECHANICS: 25 OF OUR CUSTOMER BOATS WERE BROKEN INTO LAST NIGHT IN TUCKERTON. VANDALS WERE OBVIOUSLY FAMILIAR WITH MARINE ELECTRONIC WIRING. THE OCEAN COUNTY PROSECUTORS OFFICE (732-929-2027) AND LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP PD (609-296-3666) ARE HANDLING THE CASE. I'D APPRECIATE IT IS EVERYONE LIKES AND SHARES THIS POST. IF YOU HAVE A TIP, PLEASE INBOX ME. YOU WILL REMAIN ANONYMOUS. THANKS......LET'S GET THESE ASSHOLES. IT'S OBVIOUS THEY HAVE A SELLER IN MIND. KNOW OF ANY DISREPUTABLE YAMAHA MECHANICS? Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Not sure it was the same marina but Tom Novak of TN-Tackle had the exact electronics stolen from his boat a couple of weeks ago.

I don't know. Sounds like they knew exactly what they were targeting.
