sunday fluking
« on: June 21, 2016, 01:50:41 PM »
Me and my son decided to put the boat in at South River Yacht clubs ramp and blast out to the bay. We were heading out to the reach when to my disbelief near Great Kills i saw a large bunch of party boats very close together so we headed over it was the Golden Eagle, The big Jamiaca, Miss Belmar Princess and the list went on and on atleast ten large party boats working over i guess the only game in town 5lb blues that were in small tight schools. We had some fun catching then and we left it went out to the reach for a perfect tug of war with wind against tide for poor fluking! should have stayed on them little blues longer.

thanks chrz and yes definitely was a good to see my son catching some blues with lighter tackle a little disappointing with drifting conditions for fluke but that will change.
