Tom and I left our slip at seven AM to spend the morning around Flynns Knoll area. Worked the edge of Sandy Hook Channel with no fish showing, moved over to the single Candlestick where I picked up the first keeper Fluke @18”. The drift continued till nearing Chapel hill Channel where another keeper Fluke was landed. Headed back out to the Candlestick where Tom landed the last keeper @22” around noon. Seas were calm with slight winds and very hot conditions, there were many short Fluke caught with plenty of doggies with one about four feet long. The hot bait would be Tom’s giant Killies with pink Gulp©️ and the usual Sea Robin strips. Three keeper Fluke today! Pete
