Hit up high tide both nights. Friday was south of 23 and saturday night was gilikins.
Friday night got a ray and a couple sand sharks on mackerel. 4oz to hold which was the lightest I carry, could have been less I think. 15 minute fight had the ray in the surf and tried to recover as much line as I could before cutting the line.
Saturday night was the skunk with mackerel and salted clam for bait. 6oz to hold which is what I started off with as the surf was pretty rough.
We'll be at it again next weekend.
