Time to get recertified or first time certified
« on: December 01, 2007, 08:44:57 PM »
I am a certified Red Cross Instructor for CPR/First AID.  CPR is good for only a year and I know that you guys need to be certified as captains. This class is offered to everyone on this site. I talked to my chapter about offering a class to you and it will be no problem.  I will do it for free and the only cost to you would be the books and skill cards at 30$.  My chapter is somerset county.

I plan to hold the class on DECEMBER 23rd which is a sunday.  A morning class, time negotiable.  I'll have a specific location in a couple days.

Don't worry about getting stuck in class all day, I always finish way before I should  ;).  Let me know via this post if your interested.

Thanks,

Brian

I still have time on cert.  But when it is up, I will keep you in mind.
Nice of you to offer this, thanks.

great offer Brian... I have mine already but have to update the cpr yearly and the first aid every 2, I think...  Hopefully you will offer it again sometime next year.  Even if yoru not a captain, it is a must to know... Especially if you have a young family.

I will try to host another class in Feb.  A Sunday class, it will be at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater at the ranger station.  Prob. a morning class around 9 a.m.  I will repost about the class in January.  Hopefully it will work better into everyones schedules.
