Worked a couple of charter trips this weekend and was nothing short of spectacular fishing!
Saturday we left the Highlands in the dark and it was brutally cold...took a ride and when the sun came up we found ourselves surrounded by birds and bass boiling and blowing up on baits. put out the trolling recipe and quickly had our under limits. Left the area to look for some bigger fish...had to weed thru all the 32 to 42 inch fish but we ended with 3 over the 43 inch mark for the boys!
Sunday we left dock again in the dark in 65 degrees...went back to where we started on saturday and it was barren....picked up and ran a little...found the bait and found the fish....all 4 rods went off to start the festivities and again we had our under limit in no time....waited it out playing catch and release and again the bigger fish moved in towards the end of the tide...boiling all around us we couldnt keep the rods in very long without 1 or 2 screaming off again. Beautiful days and Great Fishing!
