Pulled out 1pm with Stuck Mike, Steve, Joe and Mikey after a quick dockside visit from Salty Dog. Beautiful weather and good conditions we head into Raritan bay. The tide was outgoing and close to dead low. We stopped on a ton of bait and birds in shallow water and tossed shads, metals and topwater but nothing was interested. Out goes the trolling gear and start picking away at the Stripers. All nice fish around 31" size. around 4:45pm I saw a front moving in towards the west and checked the weather radar and we decided to call it quits and head in before it hit the bay. Good thing we did because it got nasty with cold wind, and a thunderstorm. We kept out lower slot limit of 5 Stripers.
