Seasonal to wintry conditions move into the area with poor water conditions to start the week. Fall or even Winter weather conditions arrived this weekend with a mix of rain, wintry mix, and snow, as well as much colder temperatures from Saturday Day. These temperatures in the 40’s and 40’s will continue with overnight lows in the 20’s to 30’s. It will continue to be windy for Monday and parts of Tuesday. Water conditions will be hazardous on Monday and cautious on Tuesday with winds to 40 knots and seas to 12 feet inshore and 18 feet offshore. Gale Warnings and Small Craft Advisories have been issued. By Wednesday water conditions will begin to settle with cautious to even good conditions, then good to borderline for Thursday and Friday, mainly for winds to 20 knots. Surf and beach conditions will not be as bad as ocean conditions because winds will be mainly out of the west, pushing the surf down. Water temperatures are in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s inshore and upper 50’s to low 60’s offshore. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 0-3/15.

An area of strong low pressure that was located over northern New England will drift northeastward, reaching the Gulf of Saint Lawrence on Tuesday. Weak high pressure builds in from the Midwest and Great Lakes Tuesday before moving overhead Wednesday. A weak low pressure system may pass to our north on Thanksgiving. Another disturbance may impact the area early next weekend. High pressure could return to the area late in the weekend.

The weekend looks dry with highs in the 40’s and 50’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious.

The Tropics are mostly quiet. There is an area of invest down in Central America.

Have a great week and a fantastic and safe Thanksgiving Holiday!! Thanks for reading!
