A very unsettled weekend for weather, but water conditions are good to borderline. The entire weekend will have a mix of clouds and sun. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible as well. Highs will only be in the 60’s and 70’s with lows in the 50’s. Minor Coastal Flooding is possible tonight due to High Astronomical Tides. Low lying and flood prone areas along the coast will flood tonight. Water conditions will be good to borderline with winds 5-15 knots and seas to 4 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be good to borderline with surf 1-4 feet. Rip Current Risk will be Low to Moderate. Water temperatures are steady in the 50’s and 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Very High at 0-9/15.
Weak high pressure will briefly affect the area tonight, before building to our northeast over the weekend. A weak low is forecast to move along a developing stationary front to our south Saturday into Saturday night. Another area of low pressure is forecast to combine with a larger low across southern Canada as it moves into the eastern Great Lakes Sunday into Sunday night. An occluded frontal system is expected to affect the area around Monday. A series of cold fronts or surface troughs are forecast to move across the area Tuesday and Wednesday.
Have a great weekend!
