An unsettled week for weather with mostly good water conditions. Monday through Thursday will have chances of showers and thunderstorms. Friday looks like the only dry day this week. However, any showers look to be scattered to maybe widely scattered with partly sunny skies most of the week. Highs will be in the 80’s through Tuesday, then into the 80’s and 90’s for the rest of the week. Lows will be in the 60’s and 70’s with moderate to high humidity. Some storms could be strong to severe and could pop up quickly. Heavy rains, dangerous lightning, and winds will all be possible. Be aware of changing weather conditions and have a way of receiving weather alerts. Water conditions will be mainly good this week inshore and some good to borderline conditions midshore to offshore. Inshore winds will be to 10 knots and seas to 3 feet. Midshore to offshore will have winds to 15 knots and seas to 4 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be good with a Low Rip Current Risk. Water temperatures are all in the 70’s. Southern ocean waters have pushed up towards the upper 70’s with other waters in the low to mid 70’s. UV Index will be Moderate to Very High at 4-10/15.
Unsettled weather is on tap for much of this week as a trough approaches from the west and stalls west of the Appalachians. That trough moves across the region through Tuesday night. High pressure briefly returns Wednesday, before a pair of cold fronts
approach the region late this week.
There is an invest area being watched off of Africa.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!
