With the ocean in turmoil, Tom and I fished Sandy Hook Bay for our final Fluke trip of 2017. With the tide and wind in unison the drift was just about perfect as we were up against the white cans near the Ammo Pier for long drifts East across the bay. As a good sign the shorts were plentiful, the Sea Robins were few, only one doggie. Tom’s giant Killies did the trick as he landed three keeper Fluke to 19”. I lucked into a 25” fat Fluke, as we had enough fish, I returned her to spread some eggs. Heres hoping for next year. Pete
