Today aboard the Down Deep we ran a 6 am Jumbo Bottom Dwellers trip for Lisa and a big bunch of great friends. Returned where the pounding has been outstanding for weeks now but we weren't impressed with the catch, due to traffic. Not wasting anyone's time we decided to move out and made the right call once again as everyone proceeded to bail NMR jumbos of this and that all around the boat until the bite slowed when the tide died. By that time everyone got what we came for and the crew left heavy and happy once again.
And then... Sunday aboard the Down Deep Bull we ran another 6 am open boat Jumbo Bottom Dwellers trip for a big crowd of great new and returning guys and gals. Non stop action with large and jumbo Porgies flying over the rails all day all around the boat. Thanks everyone for sailing with us and getting your share of big bags of fillets to match everyone's smiles.
