Today aboard the Down Deep we ran another 6 am open boat Blackfish trip with a great bunch of guys. The title says it all, HH had 3 keepers and down from there. Shorts returned. Looking forward to colder weather to see major improvements. Then today aboard the Down Deep Bull we ran a 6 am open boat Striped Bass trip for a great bunch of new and returning guys. Great action ruled the morning with everyone hooked up all around the boat making for smiling faces and keepers hitting the deck. When the tide turned, the crew did it all over again. Many returned to swim another day. Amazing amount of bait and fish that show no signs of going anywhere fast.
