An unsettled holiday weekend with unsettled water conditions. Friday will be the nicest day and not technically the weekend yet. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will have a mix of sun and clouds with showers and thunderstorms possible all three days. Water conditions will be borderline to cautious with more borderline to good conditions from Sunday and Monday. Surf and beach conditions will be good, minus any possible thunderstorms. Rip Current Risk is low this weekend. Water temperatures are in the 60’s in the bays, surf is in the 60’s and inshore and offshore waters in the 50’s to 60’s.
High pressure across our region will continue to shift offshore through Friday. A weak cold front moves southward across at least parts of our area late Saturday night and Sunday, then stalls in our area through Monday. A secondary cold front moves through during Tuesday, followed by high pressure Tuesday night before it moves offshore during Wednesday. A warm front may approach on Thursday.
Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
