A mixed week for weather and water conditions. The Summer heat has finally arrived with temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s this week with moderate to high humidity. Heat Advisories are in effect for Monday and possibly into Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be hot, but back to the 80’s, where Monday and Tuesday will see 90’s like today. Showers and thunderstorms are possible on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Water conditions will start off cautious, then to borderline, before being good for the end of the week. Water temperatures have really risen, into the 60’s and 70’s. Surf and beach conditions will be good all week, minus any thunderstorms. Rip Current Risk will be Low to Moderate.

High pressure will remain anchored over the Southeast U.S. and off the Mid-Atlantic coast through through Tuesday. A cold front moves south through the area on Tuesday. This front will stall south of the region through the end of the week. Several waves
of low pressure will develop on that boundary as high pressure builds to the north.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!
