NJ Fishing & Boating Weather Outlook Weekend Edition: Jun 23-24, 2018

An unsettled weekend with rain and thunderstorms and cautious water conditions. Saturday and Sunday will have chances of showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be strong to severe. Highs in the 70’s to 80’s with lows in the 60’s and 70’s. Water conditions will be cautious with gusty winds and seas. Surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious with Moderate.

High pressure situated east of New England will continue to move offshore tonight. Meanwhile, a low pressure system organizing over the Mississippi Valley leads to a warm frontal passage through the region on Saturday followed by a cold frontal passage late Sunday. High pressure over Ontario builds into the region on Monday and slowly moves off the eastern seaboard to a position near Bermuda by the end of next week.
