Gambler Monday update
Nice, steady action today on mixed sized stripers. Long drifts, we didn't need to move around much.
We had bass up to 35" with some slot sized and short fish in the same schools.
The fish were on sand eels up higher in the water column, so 4 oz AVAs seemed to work best. Red tails, green tails, and ones without tails all worked.
We also landed some 2 to 3 lb bluefish.
Very nice day with a good group of guys.
Tomorrow and Weds look like good weather.
Dress accordingly if you are planning for our Thanksgiving special trip (7:30-12:30). Its supposed to be cold.
