Pops

Did some several years ago for my Fire company.

Pretty straight foward, getting vendors, door prizes frm the vendors, setting up food, etc.

Big things are location/timing. there are a ton of them out there now both fall and winter/spring. Advertisement

Skip, probably plenty on the site here who would participate. Maybe even make the initial one a duel effort with your club and members here.  Just a thought.   t^

I can tell you from a selling stand point (I was selling tackle, etc. as well as getting the word out on my Biz) that it was getting harder and harder being as there are so many Flea Markets out there. Where there was once 3-4 in the fall and 3-4 in the spring, now there is sometimes 2-3 per weekend in the spring

Yea Capt. Bob We understand that, like they say Timeing and LOCATION are two key factors.
This one would be in Pa. where we haven't seen any fishing flea markets. Our Club does a FREE fishing Seminar everyyear which has grown to filling a hall to standing room only with over 400 people showing up and no kid under 15 leaves with out a fishing rod and or tackle box, fishing trips given away plus many other door prizes, this is coming up in March. We would like to get away from this because of the work involved and switch over to a flea market. Thanks for your input t^

Skip (and anyone interested), I posted your clubs seminar in the calendar.

Check the calendar, March 7, 2008 for details.  Looks like a good seminar.   t^
