Well got a request from my veteran son in law Paul to take his homeland security buddy Andrew (also a vet) out for his first striper( boat fishing trip) ever. Had one of the nicest sunrises to start the day and dropped lines pretty quickly once into the bay. Started landing some beautiful 28-32 inch fish and was glad to see both with huge smiles to start the day. Think we could have picked fish back bay all day but decided to work our way out towards the fleet as they remained parked outside the ammo pier most of the early morning. When we finally arrived it was about an hour of total madness with multiple hookups and bait and bass everywhere. Need to thank Joe for being the mate today as it was boat busy and bit choppy out there. Did a great job helping the vets have a great day on the water. Over 30 fish caught? mostly in the 28-32 range with few 35-36. Mojos and tandem mojos worked great for us today.
