Saltwater fishing video games?
« on: January 25, 2008, 08:09:37 PM »
Anyone know of any?

The only things I have seen in the stores are games where LMB and other freshwater fish are the target.

I have a PS2.

Thanks, and if the mods think this should go in another forum, by all means move it and accept my apologies in advance.

I don't know of any, but I'm sure there are or will be something out there.  I'm not a game fanatic.

As far as being in the right forum, don't know of any others where it would have fit in any better, so, it can stay here in my opinion.   t^

This is a cool topic, because I just got an XBOX360 and I've been searching for a saltwater fishing game.  My girlfriend's dad has a freshwater game, but that doesn't do it for me.

Theres more freshwater than saltwater games. I have a couple bassmaster games, but my favorite is Reel Fishing III.

While searching, I found some other stuff.

Here's a site with a bunch of downloadable games, fishing logs and other software: LINK

I haven't tried any of them, but thought maybe some of y'all might want to give one a go.  In particular, the electronic log keeping seems useful.  I may try one out in the spring and see if I stick to it.  Could be useful a few years from now.

Whoa.  $2k for a game system = dedication.  In other news, I defeated Call of Duty 4 on Friday.  TT^  Now, just gotta buy the wireless add-on to XBOX360 for multiplayer gaming.  The funny thing is that I never saw a video game system in HD before I got my XBOX last weekend.  It's insane!  Hooking it up to a surround is amazing too.  The last console I had was the first PlayStation.
