I GOT SOME 9" PADDLE TAILS TO FISH FOR STRIPERS. HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING A HOOK LARGE ENOUGH AND STRONG ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE GOOD ONES OVER 20#. CAN ANYONE DIRECT ME TO A PLACE THAT CARRIES HOOKS LARGE ENOUGH TO PENETRATE THRU THE BAIT AND STILL HAVE ENOUGH BITE TO KEEP THE FISH ON? THANKS!!

I don't know what type hooks you are looking for but I would not go too big as you might miss an opportunity for other species.  I would not go past 7/0 or if you have to 9/0 but man that is big.

Just so you know you can get away with 6/0's  or 7/0's and hook the paddle tail up the shank, remember, stripers usually strike the heads where as blues strike the tail section.

I (and others) use 10/0 in the 6" shads for trolling rigs, so obviously, that is not to big

Thanks for all the greetings to the board. It's never too late to learn more. Some of my fishing is done on the SUSKIE flats in Md. during their spring catch and release season. Over the years I've had several fish pushing that 50# mark chasing a smaller 24" fish that was already hooked . I think it's incredible as to the size of bait these guys will try to eat. Sometimes it seems as though the baits I'm throwing are too small and they don't fully commit to em. Going bigger sometimes does the trick for the bigger fish. We spend lots of time casting to the fish cause the water is so shallow and any boat noise spooks the fish.Does the super glue trick really work to help keep the bait on the hook?
