Capt Kaos knows tog
« on: February 04, 2008, 08:26:25 PM »
Sat was a perfect day as the blackfish bite was non existant til about 2pm. We managed to find some hungry ones but I don't thing we had a doz. fish. Sunday we went off to some deeper water. Lets see, we had Broken Bobber and victor, Dopic Dick,Sam lieberman, Jeff and his buddie. First piece was drop and reel fishing for about 2 hrs. second piece NADA. Third piece NADA, Zip, Zilch. So... back to the first piece and BINGO, drop and reel for some. Toggin is crazy fishing. The expierianced do great and the others ask questions, and applaud them as the filets add up. The boat limited out because Victor caught at least 20 of the box tthat we had. Broken Bobber held his own and so did Jeff. I was busy bleeding fish and keeping the boat on the wreck. I broke my concentration and missed many fish. I still may sail weather permitting. Its all about the chicken.

Nice catch.  It usually pays to go back to check out a likely spot.  Get a change in tide, change in current, and it may be productive later in the day.   t^
