I live in the forked river area and am looking to make some allies in the barnegat bay.

Hi Angler17,

Hang tight there are a number of guys that will jump in shortly.  I don't have a boat I usually can be found pounding the surf or around the sedge islands in back of IBSP.

Happy Catching

Moved down here last year. Boat is in Barnegat.
Bought it late in the year so havent had much time to get familiar with the bay.

I was raised on LBI but moved away after I turned 18. I am 42 now and came back to the area 10 yrs ago. just started fishing the bay regularly in the past 4-5 yrs. have been doing very well but would like to hook up with some fellow locals and bay hot shots.

I used to all the time, but not my top choice.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

i have been hitting up the bay for flounder, early season fluke and weakies,, other than that i cut through.

do have plans to make a couple kid trips when the snapper blues get hot and heavy in there.

had the boat up behind seaside, but moved to waretown. which gives me an even shorter cut through. cant do to bad with oyster creek for flounder chumin or weakies on the turn of the tide.

mostley hit up the b.light reef and along the shores north and south of inlet.

this year,, i will get out sharking and hit up the ridges for tuna's and bonito's. can alwasy use an allie out there.

even the mud hole is within reach for me, which i hit last year, but weather turned us back.
