April 19, 2008:  The Aberdeen Township Environmental Board, supported by the Monmouth County Clean Communities Program, will hold it's annual Spring Beach Clean Up at Cliffwood Beach on Saturday April 19 from 9:00 AM until Noon.
 
May 17, 2008: The Bayshore Regional Environmental Council will hold it's first ever "Day at the Beach" on Cliffwood Beach on Saturday May 17th from 2 to 7 PM  This is coincident with the Aberdeen annual Family Fishing Contest at Cliffwood Beach  from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  The beach access event will feature kite flying, sand castle building, bait seining, and environmental activities.
 
All events are free of charge.
