IBSP Passed the cuts !!!

I just posted this elsewhere but did not comment of it to muck.

It seems the only reason we did not get put into the cut column was because there was a surplus in their account.

I guess paying that extra accounts for something in this state.  But I am waiting to here the fallout about the cuts and when people realize that their favorite park has been closed.

I can't believe they have the ba!!s to make such deep cuts and keet charging for everything else.  Plus adding tax upon tax when is enough going to be enough.  If there was a viable petition to impeach the gov. I would have to sigh it.  This is insane.

And right before summer begins to boot.

My buddy has been with the Passaic Cty sherrif's dept for 19 years (almost 20).

Since Passaic cty decided to build some type of cty run retirment home and went grossly over budget, he has a good shot of being laid off before the summer.

The assholes blew the budget on some I disagree nursing home and this guy may lose his house. Go get a police job (he is patrol) WITH almost 20 years on the force and pension (he is eligible for 50% or something).
They already laid off like 100 sherrif's officers (patrol, courts, detectives, corrections) in the cty.

Those assholes who voted on the budget still have jobs.

Taking cops off the street is insane.  In todays society we need all the help we can get.  I am just glad I am not in any city that is talking about cut backs.  The response times are long to start off with and not for any fault of the guys and gals on the front line.

Like I keep saying I am just waiting for the NJ Tax Party to explode.  People have had enough it is just a matter of time before they reupt.
