I made my own line stripper and figure I would share it. I will start with the Material list
1 old 5lb Line Spool
1 Old Plastic 1 lb. Coffee Can Lid
1 3/8 X 8" Bolt
1 3/8 Nut
2 3/8 Washers
1 Piece of 1/2" X 1" PVC Pipe (Spacer)
The Hardest part of this was removing the plastic flange off of one end of the old line spool. This needs to be done so you can slide the old fishing line off of the spool. The coffee can lid replaces the flange that was removed from the spool. I Insert mine into my cordless drill and clamp the reel down. I made mine just from STUFF I had laying around the basement, it seems I am always tinkering with something and have stuff laying around. Just thought I would share this with everyone.
