Navesink and Schrewsberry

Anyone know how the Navesink and Schrewsberry are for winter flounder fishing? I fish for fluke there in the summer but I have never had my boat out there this early. Just wonder if it is worth get the boat ready now? Thank again for any info!

I have always seen a party boat in the Shrewsbury just north of the junction for the Navasink fishing for winter flounder.  He has to be there for a reason.   ;D

I have caught them there.
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.




My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

Good now until they move to the flats in the bay later in April, then the Cedars as they move out to their summer grounds. Every year is different as to timing based on water temps.

i used to catch them around the dock and bulkkeds up the river.
