trout opener
« on: April 05, 2008, 07:05:30 PM »
fished a few lakes and streams

met stellios and my buddy john for the opener.

caught limit my limit of brookies at the first stop. releasing a bunch hooked in the lip and keeping the gut hooked ones. got 12 total

stelly got 3 and had to leave early and john had 5.

seen about 8 nice sized browns caught 3-5 lbers but we didnt land any.

spinners did the trick

Fished the raritan today and between me and 2 others caught about 40 - 50 brookies. USed everything from minnows, to gulp, worms and spinners. Probably best day of trout fishing ever today

Nice going with them. TT^
