Headed down to the Delaware River today hoping to score on some herring to liveline for Striper's. Although the river is in good shape the herring are just beginning to show, water temps are in the mid 40's. I seen 2 Herring and one Shad picked up by other boats in 4 hours time, we were fishing an out going tide. There were some guys tossing live herring, but I seen no Striper's caught. The state police were on the water and doing random checks. There is some small debris in the water so if you plan on heading out keep an eye out for small tree branches washing down stream. It felt real good to be on the water.
