Raritan Bay Flounder
« on: April 12, 2008, 09:35:27 PM »
Joined my buddy Capt. Anthony from Staten Island.  After a slow start early on in the trip, the fish decided to eat later on in the day and we returned to port with limits of beautiful flounder. The weather was nice all day and it was a pleasure fishing with true gentlemen and anglers like Anthony, Vito, & John. Thanks for a great day!!

One thing I should have mentioned in my initial post was that the fish never bit like gangbusters.  We let the chum settle and picked slowly but surely for the entire length of the incoming tide.  So if you're one of those people who like to move a lot, think again.  Commit to a spot and chill out!!

Thanks for all the kind feedback!
