Northstar 6100i

I'm thinking of going with the Northstar 6100i on my new boat.  Does anyone have experience with this system and if so what are your thoughts?  I have mostly used Raymarine the past 10 years and I am thinking about making the switch.

we used the 958 (last model) and love it looks like  the same setup with tons of updated features....

we been using norhstar on all the boats i every  worked on. they are all easy to use..

navionics chips are great too.

went with the northstar 6100i 12 in model

got great price, couple of buddies just bought as well

just tested it out last night after flounders gps/plotter is sick.

gonna add a radar and depth finder to it.

That model has a great weather overlay, and you can loop it to track lightning strikes and storms, raymarine does not offer at this time. If you are looking to do offshore trips that is the unit of choice for a lot of the offshore and canyon Captains. This gives you more flexibility with almost real time satellite weather updates, and water temps. Good luck!
